![]() And follow my advice: always always ALWAYS apply torque from two sides of the key, or it WILL break. I got my first from Brian, who I bought the rims from, second off Ebay, and third from Discount Tire. My local Discount Tire provided me with the key for less than $10. If they sell aftermarket rims, they'll have the key. double check to make sure they're six spline, then you can either call around to local tire shops to see if they have the key. I, too, have the six-spline lug nuts on my summer tires. I know exactly what you're talking about! Welcome to the forums. I've never had a vehicle where I couldn't use the standard tire iron to get the tires off.Ħ spline drive lug key.jpg (6.11 KiB) Viewed 4668 times tires.jpg (116.81 KiB) Viewed 4668 times I'm new to owning a vibe so if I'm missing something very obvious to the experts out there on how to get these tires off I'd appreciate any help. I just came from their shop.ĭoes anyone know where I can get the lug nut key.if I have to order online how do I know I'm getting the right size? And also where can I buy the original wheel studs and nuts for a 2003 pontiac vibe gt.they obviously changed these too and the seller never gave them to me. Even the shop that put the Konig's on did not have the lug nut key to get these tires off. I want to remove these tires altogether and put the originals rims back on which have winter rubber on them already. I have also attached a picture of my tires. The seller lost the key to get these off. With these Konig's wheels on a standard tire wrench does not work. I have went to 4 different car specialty shops in my city of Edmonton, AB Canada and no one has the SPLINE TUNER LUG NUT KEY (I believe that's what it's called.I've attached a picture) to get the tires off. If you buy from this dealer just be prepared on what the vehicle might look like or in this case smell like too.I bought a 2003 vibe gt with Konig 17" tires. In my opinion the salesman is a typical sneaky salesman and by the posting it seems like the owner might be the same way. Knowing how much he lied about the vehicle upfront just made me wonder what else was wrong with the vehicle mechanically. He said it's used so this is what you get. This was a 2016 vehicle so all the problems it had didn't just seem like wear an tear but he acted like I was an idiot an that I should of known that the vehicle was going to look like that. I talked to the salesman that I talked with on the phone and all he had to say was it was all wear an tear an thar I was being to picky. There was also somthing sticky all over the carpet in the back. The driver side sear had a huge hole in the side of it where it looked like it got cut out and not just from wear. The inside of the vehicle smelled like it had mold in it there was pieces missing from the overhead storage compartment. The lower Part of the bumper was disconnected and it had been hit before cause it was spider cracked all over. I over looked the outside of the vehicle and there was rust all over the edge of the hood about 2 inches up, and they just painted over it. Well I was fooled I went there to look at the vehicle and the posting said it had remote start but when I got the key there was no fob to do the remote start, so I asked if there was a key fob that went with the vehicle and he said no but he could program one to unlock the car. I told the guy I was going to have to drive 1 hour and 30 minutes just to get there and to please be honest about its condition. I was skeptical by the posting because it said the exact same thing. I called the dealer about a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing and the salesman led me to believe that the vehicle was in excellent condition inside and out. *LOW MILEAGE* THIS AWD 2005 PONTIAC VIBE IS IN GOOD CONDITION IN AND OUT!
